Vegan Pancakes


Makes 6-8 pancakes

1 cup of flour (we use wheat)
2 tablespoons of agave nectar
2 tablespoons of baking powder
½ teaspoon of salt
1 cup of Almond, Soy, or Coconut Milk
1 teaspoon of vanilla flavoring
2 tablespoons of flax seed oil (if you do not have flax seed oil feel free to use 100% Vegetable oil)


  1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl.
  2. Add milk, vanilla, agave nectar and oil to the dry mixture and mix until smooth. Like in any pancake recipe, it is good to keep some lumps. It helps pancakes remain fluffy.
  3. Spoon pancakes on a hot griddle. Flip pancakes once you start to see bubbles or the edges begin to darken.
  4. Let the other side finish cooking before removing from griddle. Serve immediately.
